The serious aparthotels
Adagio Luxembourg City (€134 a night for a one-bedroom) on Boulevard d\'Avranches is the obvious pick: full kitchen, washing machine, five minutes\' walk to Gare station. Staybridge Suites at the airport (€147) has bigger units if you have a car. Domus Aparthotel in Bonnevoie (€113) is the value option — small kitchens, quiet residential street, 15 minutes\' walk to the Old Town.
Hotels with kitchenettes rather than full apartments
Melia Luxembourg has junior suites with kitchenettes (€191). Hotel Français in Place d\'Armes offers a handful of long-stay rooms with fridges and hotplates (€139). For a rural stay, gîtes in Vianden, Echternach and Bourscheid rent full houses for €95-€156 a night — better value than any hotel if you\'re four people. Try the national gîte network for anything called \'Gîte Rural\'.
Where to shop
Cactus and Delhaize are the two supermarket chains you\'ll see everywhere. There\'s a Cactus in Kirchberg (Auchan mall) and a Delhaize on Rue de Bonnevoie. For actual good produce, the Wednesday and Saturday farmers\' market at Place Guillaume II is a highlight — cheese, charcuterie, Moselle wine at fair prices.

Are supermarkets open Sundays?
Mostly no. A few Cactus Shoppi branches open Sunday mornings; the airport supermarket opens daily. Plan Saturday shops.
Can I do laundry?
Most aparthotels include washing machines. Public launderettes exist but are rare — Bonnevoie has one on Rue de Bonnevoie.
